Advantage Wits as Kaizer Chiefs, Sundowns share spoils

Bidvest Wits have a glorious opportunity of assuming pole position in the ABSA premiership after Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs played out a 0-0 draw at FNB stadium yesterday.

Currently third with 26 points, Wits head into their encounter against Chippa United hoping to win and assume pole position. With Mamelodi Sundowns top of the log with 27 points, maximum points against Chippa would see the Clever Boys leapfrog Masandawana and Mpumalanga Black Aces who are second also with 27 points.

Wits have been impressive so far this term, amassing 26 points from 12 matches.
