Africa Day – Peter Ndlovu

Having represented Zimbabwe and Africa in Europe for the likes of, Sheffield United, Coventry City and Birmingham City in the English leagues, over a career spanning more than a decade, Peter Ndlovu is one of Africa’s greatest exports.

The vastly experienced Ndlovu joined the Brazilians in the most talked about transfer deal in the country in 2004. He then went on to spearhead the then Sundowns coach Paul Dolezar’s frontline.

Currently in the Team Manager position at the club, Peter is proudly African and having flown his native Zimbabwe’s flag high across Europe is now looking back at the brotherhood and family formed during his playing days.

“I would like to make this day extra special for the following reasons: 1) it is my beloved continent, 2) I made more friends in Africa that has escalated to brotherhood and family.”

“I am proudly Zimbabwean, but today I am proudly African, as we celebrate Africa day. Happy Africa Day ALL Africans, one love, we love you.”
