Matsatsantsa continued their march for a top two finish and CAF Champions League qualification with victory over Usuthu. Winger Thapelo Maseko gave the hosts the lead in the first half.

Zambia international Ghampani Lungu doubled their lead in the second half. Usuthu attacker Bongi Ntuli pulled one goal back for the visitors in the dying embers of the match, but they couldn’t equalize.

“I mean they’ve got a big, physical side.” Hunt told SuperSport TV after the win.

“I think they did it last week as well, against Cape Town City: they threw it in, and anything can happen, and they got something out of it. But you know, we should have killed the game off.

“Cape Town City should’ve won the game 4 or 5-0 last week. They didn’t do it and we should’ve done it again as well tonight, and in the last five minutes we were holding on.

“But that’s football. Good determination, good character, and that’s what we’re about.” He added.
