Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila basically had an entire starting XI of new faces. Mokgakalodi Ngele scored both of TTM’s goals in their defeat to Supersport United over the weekend.
SuperSport United started striker Iqraam Rayners from the beginning. Goalkeeper Chigova was on the bench for SuperSport United.
Orlando Pirates started new men Thulani Hlatshwayo, Wayde Jooste, Terrence Dzvukamanja and Deon Hotto. Jooste provided the cross that saw Dzvukamanja score for the Buccaneers.
For Cape Town City, Terrence Mashego started on the bench for the side. Fagrie Lakay made his first start for the club as a permanent Cape Town City player.
Kaizer Chiefs’ new men was in the form of their coaching staff. Yesterday’s match was the first game for Gavin Hunt as well as Dillon Shephard and Arthur Zwane on the Chiefs bench.
Maritzburg United new men Ismail and Hlubi started on the bench. Ntshangase and Meza did not feature in the match day squad at all.
