AmaZulu Release Media Statement Following the Capture of Xola Mlambo! Yesterday Usuthu announced the signing of technically gifted midfielder Xola Mlambo. He joined as a free agent after being released by former club Orlando Pirates.

“AmaZulu Football Club (FC) have completed yet another high-profile signing in midfielder, ace Xola Mlambo.
“Just a week ago, AmaZulu unveiled 10 new prized signings as part of the club’s ambition to occupy the top end of the DSTV Premier League.
“Today at the Durban Hilton Hotel in KwaZulu Natal Usuthu unveiled the latest signing Xola Mlambo to members of the media at a press event.
“The midfield anchor joins Usuthu on a two-year deal as he reunites with his former teammates Luvuyo Memela and Augustine Mulenga as they look to re-capture the glory days of AmaZulu.”
Xola Mlambo was excited to join his brand-new club.
“It’s great to come into a club that has so much ambition and drive.
“I’m honoured that AmaZulu have trusted me to help them achieve the goals they have set out for the season and the coming seasons,” says Mlambo.
“I’m also happy to see some familiar faces in this new-look AmaZulu squad. The combination of the players that have been here and those that have joined will take this club to greater heights as we look to win cups for Usuthu,” Mlambo added.
Mlambo is unlikely to be part of the squad that takes on TS Galaxy tomorrow evening.
