Arthur Zwane Laments Missed Chances Against TS Galaxy! Amakhosi played out to a scoreless match against The Rockets.

Kaizer Chiefs drew 0-0 away to TS Galaxy in the DSTV Premiership on Sunday afternoon. Head coach Arthur Zwane bemoaned the opportunities his side failed to take.

The biggest highlight of the game was the red card shown to Galaxy defender Marks Munyai.

“I think the first 10 minutes we started very slow, we gradually picked up. We dominated the middle; we forced them to make mistakes.” Zwane told SuperSport TV.

“Though sometimes when we’re trying to press them to force them to play the ball out wide, knowing that we will try to win the ball in the second phase. At some point we managed to get it right, first half.

“Most of the time it worked because I think we created 3 clear cut chances, for me. Two dead ball situations could have [been taken] if we were clinical. We could have at least scored two or three goals going into halftime.

“Second half I think we started very well, but we took our foot off the peddle after they were 1-man down. We thought the game was going to be easy and we needed a little bit of creativity that’s why I had to bring on George [Matlou], because we were all playing crosses.

“I told them [that] the only time [Kgaogelo] Sekgota goes wide is because we want to stretch them, but we need a little bit of movement there you know, in between the central defenders. We didn’t do that quite often and we resorted to crosses, of which we knew they would defend in numbers.

“There was no ways they were going to go forward,” he stated.
