“We looked like, whenever we were applying a little bit of pressure on them, especially waiting for [Miguel] Timm and [Ndabayithethwa] Ndlondlo to get the ball in the middle because we set those pressing traps in the middle. I think we could have done better and then we were back in the game, but the problem was that we were losing every second ball.

“We regained possession and did not take care of the ball quite well. Then we were playing in patches, but it was always going to be difficult at some point when it comes to transition because we obviously wanted to come with the ball. Once they move the ball forward, they will get those spaces. It worked, I think we created about three or four chances if I’m not mistaken.

“Then second half again, at halftime I told them obviously that we have to put them under pressure, we have to force them to make mistakes. Then we got one where [Christian] Saile was going straight to the goal then Inno [Innocent Maela] was sent off.

“Now we had to reshuffle the team again in terms of how we go forward and unfortunately Sifiso [Hlanti] was not giving us that extra man forward because there was no need for us to sit with four at the back.” Zwane elaborated.
