Gregory Damons gave the visitors the lead early in the match. Striker Christian Saile Basomboli found the equalizer about 15 minutes later.

On loan left back Bongani Sam restored the lead for Swallows in the first half, as the game ended as is.

“Like I said, when you look at the first half and second half, it tells you about taking some games lightly.” Mangethe told SuperSport TV.

“Started slow, conceded early in the game because of sloppy defending. We paid the price, then we got a wake-up call, we looked like we could take the game to them.

“Controlled the tempo of the game and we got a goal, from a set piece. But still, we were not moving enough, and we were not mobile enough in terms of creating space for others to exploit.

“We were waiting for the ball to come to us and since they formed a block it was always going to be difficult to penetrate a block. Then we conceded from a dead ball situation, again.

“Actually, we were lucky not to concede twice from those set plays. If we concede from standard situations like that and when we get the opportunity, how many did we get?

“We couldn’t find the target, we hit the upright then we got one v one with Wandi [Wandisile Duba]. I believe we had other chances as well.

“Then, second half it was only one team playing. But we paid the price of taking this game lightly or taking it for granted from the first half and now we ended up chasing the game.” He added.
