Manqoba Mngqithi Disappointed in Scoreless Draw! The Brazilians played out to a stalemate against The Buccaneers this weekend.

It was a very tough and intense match, and this is due to the qualities both teams possess. They made it very hard for each other, resulting in a high-quality game.

Masandawana did not have a single shot on target in the game, however.

“I think it was a very interesting match for the spectators, unfortunate not to score goals in this match.” Mngqithi told SuperSport TV after the match.

“And worse for us when we could not even have a shot on target, with very good situation son the right side where Mudau had very bad crosses, in moments where I think maybe with a first touch or a cut back, he could have done better. Because those were well created situations.

“But I believe it was a very good match to watch for spectators. Unfortunate for it not to have a goal.” He stated.

The Brazilians brought on Bongani Zungu for Andile Jali early in the second half. AJ struggled with Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo in the middle of the park.

“We just wanted to improve the speed of our passing game, because we felt we were a little bit slow in giving them time to organize. AJ [Andile Jali] has done very well defensively and in build up he always helps us a lot.

“But we had to try to inject a little bit of energy in the game. Not that we feel Jali did not play well, but we wanted to inject a little bit of energy, which I think we did get second half because we were on top.

“We were coming towards them a lot, but unfortunately not very incisive in front of goal.” Mngqithi spoke.
