Baroka Retain PSL Status.

Baroka FC managed to secure themselves a spot in the Absa Premeirship after holding Black Leopards to a 1-1 draw in Thohoyandou.

Both sides had the chance to play in the PSL next season, Baroka needed just a draw, a win and Leopards needed nothing but a win by two goals to none. However Baroka were able to break the hearts of Leopards by scoring the first goal and holding their nerve till the final whistle even after Leopards managed to find an equalizer.

This was the fourth time in a row that saw Leopards fail to gain promotion in the playoffs.

Baroka coach Thobejane dedicated his teams stay in the PSL to his players, who he says they showed their brilliance and he is looking to have a better season in the 2017/18 season.
