Black Aces stun Bidvest Wits to go top

Mpumalanga Black Aces stunned Bidvest Wits to assume pole position on the ABSA premiership standings on Friday evening.

A Collins Mbesuma brace guided Aces to a 2-1 victory which took their points tally to 30.

It was Wits who had broken the deadlock in the 10th minute, as Thulani Hlatshwayo turned home Daine Klate’s free-kick with a fine glancing header.

Mbesuma then scored an equalizer in the 16th minute before netting a winner in the 82nd minute.
