Bongani Zungu And Cindy Mahlangu Confirm Having A Child Together! Bongani Zungu and his actress girlfriend Cindy Mahlangu have finally confirmed that they have a child together. Initially, when the former The Queen actress was pregnant, it was just the speculations that Zungu was going to be the child’s father.
Knowing how private the celebrities can be, since the baby was born, Mahlangu and Zungu never dropped any hint to show that they share a child. Thanks to a Father’s Day that forced Mahlangu to post a video of her baby and Zungu as she wished him a beautiful day. She then wrote, “Happy dada’s day” and tagged Bongani Zungu.
When Mahlangu quit at The Queen last year, it was reported that she was heading to France since she was pregnant and it was very clear that she went to stay with Zungu who was playing in the French Ligue 2 outfit Amiens SC.
With the midfielder’s contract coming to an end on 30 June, Zungu and Mahlangu might return to South Africa if the player gets a satisfying offer locally. Mamelodi Sundowns who are the former employers of “Ben 10” are believed to have launched a bid for him. On the other side, Kaizer Chiefs have also been linked with the midfielder.
While Chiefs haven’t made any bid as far as Zungu comments are concerned. Zungu says he’s looking to get a long-term contract as he hopes that it will be the last deal he signs in his football career.
“I’m very calm. As I said earlier, this is a very, very important part of my football career. For me, I want it to be maybe my last contract of my career,” he said on Sports Night Amplified with Andile Ncube.
He also revealed that it’s only the Brazilians who have made formal contact with his agent. “I met president Motsepe the other year and he told me Sundowns will always be home. So Sundowns will always be my home, no matter what happens from now until when I make my decision on where I’m gonna play. Sundowns is the only team that spoke to my agent and they are speaking to my agent still. Others are trying to [as well],” he added.
As far as Chiefs’ interest is concerned, Zungu said: “I’m a top player, of course teams are going to try and find out what’s your situation and all. My phone is open, I’m listening to [offers].”
