Young Apologies For The Cancellation Of United’s Friendly With City

Manchester United midfielder Ashley Young apologized to the United’s fans who were expecting to watch Manchester derby. Manchester United was suppose to take on their noisy neighbors Manchester City for the first time out of UK. The match was cancelled due to bad weather,that led to the cancellation of the match. Young apologies for the cancellation of United’s friendly with City.

Manchester United played on poor turf against Dortmund four days ago and they lost,and today Manchester United was suppose to play against Manchester City. Ashley Young said he was looking forward to tonight’s match but because of the bad weather in Shanghai the match was cancelled. Ashley Young then sent a message to the fans expressing how disappointed he is about the cancellation.

“Obviously I just want to say how disappointed we are the game is off tonight,” Young said in the video. “We were looking forward to the game but due to obviously the weather it’s been deemed the game’s is not playable.”

“I just want to thank the fans that have shown so much support to us,the passion they have shown has been overwhelming at times and has been fantastic and hopefully we’ll be coming back soon.”

“I just want us to thank you again,thank all the fans hopefully we’ll see you soon.”
