Breaking News! Zongo Released From Police Custody! The former SuperSport United winger has been in police custody after rape charges from February 2013 in Cape Town were brought against him.

The 27 year old was charged with the rape of a 19-year-old woman in June by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). Details of his release are still sketchy but it seems Zongo is now free to look for a new club to continue with his career.

The Mthatha-born player was on the books of Royal Eagles in the NFD before his arrest. More details to follow.
