Cape Town City FC Reportedly In Talks For Steven Pienaar! Steven Pienaar and Benni McCarthy were teammates in the national team years ago and now Pienaar could play under Benni if move to City succeeds.

City owner John Comitis and Pienaar’s representative‚ Rob Moore have reportedly have had discussion but that a final decision has not yet been taken.

Pienaar was released by Bidvest Wits last month having made little impact at the club he joined on a reported R500 000 per month salary at the start of the campaign.

Comitis reportedly has to consult coach Benni McCarthy over whether he sees the 35-year-old as adding value to his squad.
