Arthur Zwane Wants Kaizer Chiefs To Maintain Winning Run! Amakhosi take on The Team of Choice later today.

Kaizer Chiefs visit Maritzburg United in the DSTV Premiership tonight. Head coach Arthur Zwane is intent on adding yet another victory to their streak.

Amakhosi have won their last three matches in all competitions. This includes victories against Orlando Pirates, Richards Bay FC and Casric Stars.

They have already defeated tonight’s opposition twice this season, without conceding at all. They won 3-0 in the DSTV Premiership at the FNB Stadium in August and 2-0 in the Nedbank Cup at the Harry Gwala Stadium last month.

“We need to consistently win our games.” 10111 told the club media.

“We have won three games in a row and we have to continue from where we left off. The run has boosted the confidence of the players.

“The belief is there, the desire is there, the focus and hunger are there and we will give our best again and make sure we get the result away from home going into the international break.” The head coach added.

Amakhosi will be without defender Siyabonga Ngezana for the encounter. He has been crucial in their last few matches, winning the man of the match award twice in the past month.

“Not having a consistent line up has been part of our journey this season and we have accepted it. But you know, the players who are given the opportunity when we reshuffle the team always take their chances, which is very key.

“It talks to individual preparations and how the players are always giving their best and we are always trying to strike a balance, when that situation comes up.” He added.
