“Wherever we went, wherever we played. Whether it was in the Free State of Cape Town, they [Kazier Chiefs supporters] would be there. I’ve had a fantastic time here, but the fans’ passion for the club is what I’ll miss the most,” Cardoso told KickOff.

In his seven years stay at Chiefs, he never won a single trophy. “It’s an amazing club to be at. From the management to staff, players and fans, and as a player, you always want to win trophies. We came close a few times, but it just never happened. I would say that’s my only disappointment. The fans deserve a trophy to celebrate and I hope it does come soon.”
