AmaZulu and Royal AM on the race for Gabuza

The ever-consistent Thamsanqa Gabuza has been the strongest goal poacher for SuperSport United since he joined from Orlando Pirates. Royal AM and AmaZulu who seem to have gained financial muscle since new owners came in are battling for the signature of ‘Gandaganda’.

According to Kickoff, Royal AM club insiders, Thwihli Thwahla contacted Matsatsansa a week ago and now are pushing with a follow-up.

“SuperSport United now want to keep him,” the club insider reveals to KickOff.

“AmaZulu have put in an offer, alongside Royal AM who are pushing hard to convince him to sign for them.

Pirates and AmaZulu battling to sign Makume

With a flawless previous season that Bonginkosi Makume had at Baroka FC, few clubs have shown an interest in luring the young defender. There’s an advantage for whoever makes a good offer considering that Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele were relegated to the Glad Africa Championship.

As per Kickoff, AmaZulu are said to be leading the race while Richards Bay are reportedly interested even though they haven’t done any move.

Mukumela, Kwem, Zuma, Mhango to Usuthu

A report coming from Idiski Times confirmed that Cape Town Spurs defender Thendo Mukumela is set to sign for AmaZulu to replace Tapelo Xoki who left for Orlando Pirates.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender is said to be one of the eight players that Usuthu president Sandile Zungu said they’ll be announcing this week.

These players are believed to be including Gabadinho Mhango, Dumisani Zuma, Augustine Chidi Kwem, Mukumela while they’re being rumoured to be monitoring Chippa United’s Veluyeke Zulu.

“Next week, we’ll be able to announce and inform the public which players will be joining AmaZulu,” he told Andile Ncube on Sports Night Amplified.

Among those players, maybe people that soccer public is familiar with, with have played in the PSL, and some may be great names that South Africa is familiar with who come from other leagues. Including Dumisani Zuma, who may feature or who may not feature.”

The deals between Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows for the transfer of Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons are believed to have been completed.

Chiefs table offers for Yusuf Maart and Etouga

Chiefs are believed to have tabled another offer that’s close to R10m for Sekhukhune United’s Yusuf Maart.

Amakhosi are also said to have made a bid for the Asante Kotoko Cameronian player, Franck Mbella Etouga.

‘I’m attracted to Chiefs’- Pule Mmodi

The recently ended season had several names on the lips of the fans and Golden Arrows star Pule Mmodi is one of those. He has attracted interest from the big fishes but he was straight when revealed to Idiski Times that he wants to join Chiefs.

“I never wanted to support any team but I’m attracted to Chiefs. It’s a good team for me. I can be one of them,” he told Idiski Times journalist Lorenz Kohler.

Sundowns’ offer for Zungu

Last week, after Bongani Zungu landed in SA, it was reported that his former club, Sundowns want a reunion.

“SABC Sport can reveal that Mamelodi Sundowns have officially launched an audacious bid in an attempt to lure midfielder Bongani Zungu back to Chloorkop,” the national outlet reported
