These 5 Pictures Show Mthokozisi Dube & Innocent Maela’s Bromance! The Orlando Pirates full backs are clearly closest to each other in the Orlando Pirates dressing room. Their relationship and friendship dates back to when they were still playing in the lower division.
Mthokosizi Dube hails from Germiston, in the East Rand of Johannesburg. He made his debut for Roses United in 2012. The right back then transferred to Royal Eagles in 2013. He spent two years with the Royal Eagles before joining Bloemfontein Celtic in 2015.
This is where Dube made his first PSL impressions. This lead to Orlando Pirates signing him in 2017. He’s been an ever present in the squad ever since.
Innocent Maela, younger brother to prolific left back Tsepo Masilela, hails from Witbank in Mpumalanga. He made his debut for Witbank Spurs in 2012. This led to a transfer to KZN based Thanda Royal Zulu.
Just like Dube, Maela also transferred to Orlando Pirates in 2017. He’s also been an ever present since joining. He’s also a regular left back for Bafana Bafana.
