Chiefs Could Release Ivan Bukenya

It seems as if Kaizer Chiefs could decide to release Ivan Bukenya as part of the teams for the 2015/16 season that is ahead of them. Bukenya contract will be expiring at the end of this month, the plan from Chiefs was to give the player a new contract for two extra years in the club. Even though was the plan, it seems as if things might change for the 23-year old player from Uganda.

“You should know that Bukenya signed a two-year contract with a one-year option, which the team was supposed to exercise, but they haven’t done that yet. They were waiting to see whether Baxter was staying or leaving, because its the coach who believed in the player.” said the source

It has not yet been confirmed that Bukenya will be leaving the club. The club is still looking into perspectives and looking at the future of the player.
