Chiefs head back to training next week.
Kaizer Chiefs players are to return from the pre-season holidays next week to begin the preparations for the new season as they seek to avoid a third successive campaign without winning any silverware.
Players will report at the end of the week for fitness and medical examinations and will then start their preparations in earnest in the first week of July.
Chiefs are then to go away for a long-term camp but the venue is being kept secret to avoid being over run by supporters. In the past, Chiefs have gone to Mpumalanga for their camps.
Chiefs are also expected to announce their new signings next week.
They have already released seven players after another disappointing season in which the club finished fourth, 10 points behind Absa Premiership victors Bidvest Wits.
