Dan Malesela Accepts Defeat to Richards Bay FC! Thwihli Thwahla suffered an unexpected loss to The Natal Rich Boyz.

Royal AM lost 1-0 at home to Richards Bay FC in the DSTV Premiership last night. Co-coach Dan Malesela believes that the team tried their best to get something from the encounter.

The hosts went into the match in good spirits as they were on top of the league table. They fancied themselves to grab a consecutive win.

However, Luvuyo Memela scored the only goal of the match as the visitors grabbed the sole goal of the match.

“Obviously it started off well, only to concede on what looked like a counter.” Dan Dance told SuperSport TV.

“I think they had several of those, that could have caught us, to be honest. But also with us, we had several chances, and we could have won the match or even levelled the scores.

“So, it’s just one of those days when it doesn’t roll for you. 

“Had we had the urgency that we had from the beginning, we probably would have done better in the second half. But we cannot just start blaming things, we just must look back and say, ‘listen, this is where we need to fix things, this is what we need to do,’ you know, and prepare for the next match.

“The boys gave it their all and they must be given credit. Its not for the lack of trying. Its just one of those days where things don’t go well for you.” He concluded.
