Devin Titus Commits Long-Term Future to Stellenbosch FC

Stellenbosch FC have confirmed that attacker Devin Titus has signed a new long-term contract, securing the future of one of their most influential players. The 24-year-old has been a cornerstone of the Cape Winelands club since making his professional debut in 2021.

Titus, a product of Stellenbosch FC’s development structures, has made over 150 appearances for the club. His commitment comes at a key moment as Stellenbosch enters a new era under head coach Gavin Hunt, who will rely on experienced and consistent performers like Titus to lead the team forward.

“Stellenbosch FC is the Club that gave me an opportunity to follow my dream of becoming a professional footballer, so I’m very happy to have signed a new contract here. I’m incredibly grateful to the Club and all the coaches, staff, and players who have given me this platform to showcase my talent, and hopefully, there is even more to come in the next few years,” Titus said.

Since making his debut against Black Leopards at 19, Titus has developed into the club’s third-most-capped player of all time. His contributions go beyond appearances. He was pivotal in Stellenbosch’s historic Carling Knockout triumph in 2023, earning the tournament’s MVP award, and followed up with inclusion in the Nedbank Cup Team of the Season in 2024.

Titus has also been part of a period of sustained success for the club. He played a key role in back-to-back MTN8 finals appearances in 2024 and 2025 and helped Stellenbosch qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup in consecutive seasons. His performances at club level earned him a place in the Bafana Bafana squad, reflecting his growth on the international stage.

The contract extension signals Stellenbosch FC’s intent to build around homegrown talent and maintain stability as they aim to compete at the highest level domestically and continentally. With Titus leading the attack, the club is well positioned for continued success in the seasons ahead.
