Doctor Khumalo IS Not pleased To Work With The New Kaizer Chiefs Coach

Steve Komphela who is the new Kaizer Chiefs coach went on to discuss his relationship with Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo following his appointment at the club. He and revealed that Khumalo called him just after he landed  in Johannesburg on the back of media reports and said that the two would not work together.

At the press conference this morning, Komphela mentioned that he received a call form a number that he knows very well and he heard” brother I hear that you will not be working with me?”

“And that call was from Doctor. I told him that I have known him for a very long time  and when Muhsin Etrugral was the coach I was there and Doctor was playing,” he added.

Komphela made it clear he will do what Chiefs wants him to do and that he has no problem working with Doctor, as much as he hasn’t met the technical team but he is ready to work Khumalo.

Even though Khomphela admitted that he will be working with Doctor, he did not make it clear if he will be bringing his own additional staff to assist.
