Doctor Khumalo’s 4-Part Docu-Series Hits TV By Storm! The legendary footballer has seen his show premiere this weekend.
The Doctor Khumalo 16-V docu-series premiered on Mzansi Magic on Sunday night. The show sees the story of how the most talented players to ever be produced out the country made it professionally.
Doctor Khumalo is highly regarded as one of the most gifted players to ever grace the pitch in South Africa. His talents saw him represent Bafana Bafana at AFCON, the FIFA World Cup and play internationally.
He was a young talent who simply took the country by storm.
The premiere of his show was attended by former teammates such as Lucas Radebe and Brian Baloyi. Other Kaizer Chiefs legends included Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Khumalo spoke about some of the key life lessons learned from his parents.
“To always have a good relationship with my finances,” as reported by Sowetan Live.
“I started earning money at a very young age and because I didn’t know much about saving, my parents, who are now late, would be the ones to control my finances. At the time I didn’t understand why they did that because I felt as if they were depriving me but after a couple of years into my soccer career, I got to understand why they did what they did, and I am grateful for that.
“A philosopher once told me that a lot of young people in SA are “made by money” when instead they should be making money. Simply put, money should never change or control you.” He added.
