Downs down AS Vita!
Current African champions Mamelodi Sundowns made light work of AS Vita Club. In one of their best performances in the CAF Champions League Sundowns put three past Vita in Kinshasa.
Liberian forward Anthony Laffor scored the opening goal in the 24th minute through a flying header, however 8 minutes later Vita got the equalizer through a well drilled shot by Sidibe. Yannick Zakri maintained his scoring form by puting Sundowns ahead in the 57th minute.
Sundowns could have went on to score the third however Themba Zwane missed what was a clear cut chance. Sundowns persisted and eventually got the two goal cushion after Sibusiso Vilakazi shrugged of a tackle.
The win sees downs go equal with Esperance of Tunisia on four points, who drew 0-0 with Saint George of Ethopia. Sundowns next CAF game is against Esperance on the 2nd of June.
