Downs and Modise part way’s.
Mamelodi Sundowns veteran midfielder Teko Modise has decided to not renew his contract with “The Brazilians” after spending six and half seasons with them after his departure at Orlando Pirates.
After much negotiations the Soweto born midfielder decided not to exercise his option of renewing his contract for a further year thus leaving Sundowns as a free agent. Downs released a statement to the media thanking Modise for his services during his time with them.
Modise won the Absa Premiership title two times, the Telkom Knockout Cup, Nedbank Cup, Caf Champions League and the Caf Super Cup with Sundowns.
It remains to be seen where Modise is headed too.
