England Take On Denmark In Euro 2020 Semi-Final Tonight! The European Championships need one more team to complete Sunday’s final.

The English will be hoping to qualify for the first major tournament final since 1966. The Danish on the other hand are hoping to make it to one since 1992.

Denmark’s biggest hour in football came in 1992 when they won the European Championships. In unlikely fashion, they have made it to the semi-finals of yet another major tournament.

Denmark had an absurd group stage experience. They lost their best player Christian Eriksen to a cardiac arrest on the very first Matchday.

The creative midfielder collapsed on the ground and had to be resuscitated. They lost 1-0 to minnows Finland in that game.

This was followed by a 2-1 loss against Belgium. All hope seemed to be lost.

However, three consecutive wins have gotten the Danes this far. They will be hoping to emulate the class of ’92 in winning the European Championships.

“We will not turn up and play a game where we just give away the initiative.” Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand told the media.

“No doubt about that. We will try to be enterprising and play a proactive game as much as possible, knowing full well that England will do the same.

“They will have the same mentality in the game. So it will clearly be a game about the initiative, about being one step ahead” he added.

England on the other hand, have not conceded a single goal in the entire competition. The only side to do so.

They will be very hard to break down. In addition to their strong defence, they have an extremely creative frontline.

They are huge favourites to win this match.
