Ernst Middendorp Appointed New Swallows FC Head Coach! The German has got himself a new job in the PSL.

Swallows FC have unveiled Ernst Middendorp as their brand-new head coach. The veteran has signed a three-year contract with the Dube Birds.

Middendorp was linked with the job since the club fired Dylan Kerr earlier this year. However, at the time he was preoccupied with a collaboration with FIFA.

It seems the Soweto club have waited on Middendorp to be available before they hired any other coach.

“Swallows Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of coach Ernst Middendorp for 3 seasons.” The club spoke in a statement.

“Coach Middendorp comes with a wealth of experience, and we believe he will be the right person to guide the club in the right direction.

“We thank coach Musa and the technical team who steered the ship on an interim basis while the search was on for [a] Head Coach.

“We would like to welcome coach Middendorp to The Nest and wish him best of luck” the statement read.
