France has the eyes of the globe on them. They are coming into Euro 2020 as the world champions.

The last time they went into the Europeans Championships as world champions they won the championships. This was at Euro 2000 after winning the FIFA World Cup in 1998 on home soil.

A large majority of the world cup winning side has remained. They have just added a few younger players to a functioning squad.

More importantly, striker Karim Benzema has been recalled to the national team for the first time since 2015. His addition is surely going to provide Les Bleus with even more firepower, in addition to the likes of Antoinne Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.

Germany will enter another major tournament with head coach Joachim Low. This is the managers 7th straight major competition as head coach.

The German team has lost almost all the players from the squad which won the World Cup in 2014. Only Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller remain from that side.

Now, Germany relies on youthful talents like Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sane, Kai Havertz and so on. The Germans also have the advantage of playing on home soil.

They will play all three matches at the Allianz Arena (Munich Arena). EURO 2020 Matchday Preview!
