Ex-Chiefs Striker Knowledge Musona On Mamelodi Sundowns Radar

Former Kaizer Chiefs goal ace Knowledge Musona is reportedly on Mamelodi Sundowns radar with Pitso Mosimane seeking to strengthen his strikeforce for the domestic and continental title assault.

Musona at The Brazilians might ironically and eventually be the man to deny Kaizer Chiefs their first silverware in 5 seasons though currently Amakhosi enjoy a 7-point advantage over Sundowns.

Sundowns are actively courting the signature of the Zimbabwean “Smiling Assassin” during this January transfer window as he seeks a return to the SA PSL hungry for game time and some love having endured a horror spell and nightmare in Belgium.

Musona has suffered a well-documented unhappy year-and-a-half at Belgian powerhouses Anderlecht‚ where the striker played just eight times and scored once since a transfer from KV Oostende in July 2018.

Musona’s best spell was at Oostende where he scored 35 goals in 103 appearances over three years.

In South Africa PSL Musona made his name at Chiefs as a deadly striker in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. He was the PS’s top scorer with 17 goals in 2010-11.
