Orlando Pirates drew 0-0 away to Maritzburg United in the DSTV Premiership last night. Co-coach Fadlu Davids was left unhappy with the poor finishing he witnessed on the night.

The result is especially disappointing because of the number of chances they created. Strikers Terrence Dzvukamanja and Tshegofatso Mabasa were amongst the guilty parties.

The Team of Choice went down to 10 men after Brandon Theron’s challenge on midfielder Thabang Monare. However, Orlando Pirates were still unable to make the most of their numerical advantage.

“Quite disappointing in the first half not to take advantage of the opportunities we created,” The Buccaneers co-mentor said to SuperSport TV.

“Of course, on the other hand you have to give credit to the opponent for their defensive display.

“Yes, they never had a shot on target or disturbed our goalkeeper, but then it falls on us to be able to unlock the defensive line.
