PICS! Pitso Mosimane Compiling Content For Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools Manual

Pitso Mosimane parted ways with Al Ahly last month following a terrific criticism on him as the Club of the Century lost in the CAF Champions League Final at the hands of Wydad Casablanca. The club and fans were divided with some calling him for his sacking while others would like to see him continue. He eventually decided to leave before the end of his contract.

Pitso Mosimane’s agency, MT Sports Marketing and Management then announced that Pitso Mosimane would be launching his soccer schools this year. The agency then posted job posts for coaches who wanted to join the soccer schools.

“While Mosimane is still in the break from coaching, he’s been utilizing this time to focus on his project for these schools. “This morning I woke up with so many ideas. Youth football is humbling me as I’m putting together content for the @pitsomsoccerschools coaching manual,” Pitso Mosimane wrote on his Instagram account.

“It has also been important for me to check what the successful youth programs in the world are doing. We have no ego to learn from the rest of the world. We are open to collaboration, editors and proof readers who would like to do this for our coaching manual.” Click the Instagram post to see the pictures.

According to Soccer Laduma, the project began even before Mosimane joined the Egyptian giants in 2020. But a move to Egypt put on hold the whole process with the Kagiso-born coach focusing on making history with Ahly.

“The Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools are part of Coach Pitso’s legacy of not only creating the player of tomorrow but also ensuring that he contributes towards football in South Africa for it to go back to the level of excellence that we know it to be, and most importantly reaching new heights,” says Moira Tlhagale, Managing Director of MT Sports Marketing and Management in the statement released by the agency.
