Football Fan Reaction As Bafana Bafana Lose To Zambia!
Football Fan Reaction As Bafana Bafana Lose To Zambia! South Africa lost 2-1 to Zambia despite taking the lead. South Africa has failed to win any of their 2 international games.
There was a big buzz about Bafana Bafana for this international weekend. South Africa drew to Namibia before losing to Zambia yesterday (11 October 2020).
Incredibly, Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki was still wearing Nike attire ahead of the game. This is despite French brand Le Coq Sportif being Bafana Bafana’s official technical sponsor.
Ntseki and a number of his technical team members were clearly seen wearing Nike jackets as the rain poured down in Northwest, at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
“That’s clearly an administration issue and must be resolved; you cannot at international level.
“And I think it’s a mindset that when it’s a friendly match and a training match, everything goes down. And we must step it up,” said SAFA president Danny Jordaan.
Regarding matters on the pitch, Molefi Ntseki had no concerns about results at this stage. The coach is more concerned about performance and player chemistry.
“For me, I am not interested in the results,” Ntseki told the media. “I am more interested in our team; how they gel and how they understand each other.
“Those are the things we need to work on going into Sao Tome.
“Those are the things that will allow us to tick the boxes and say, ‘this one has done well and that one has done well and these are the areas we need to improve on going into Sao Tome.’ So, that is important.”
South Africa next play Sao Tome in an AFCON qualifier. This hasn’t been an ideal preparation for the qualifiers.
