Khuliso Mudau can almost always be seen wearing his cross necklace when he is off the pitch. It is safe to say that it’s his favourite piece of jewellery.

Sailor comes across as a very quiet and humble guy, which he is. But he does like to show off his personality through his clothes.

Some of his favourite brands include Gucci, Jordan, Balr and the Nike brand in general. This may be some sort of conflict of interest as he is a Puma representative.

On the pitch, Mudau continues to impress at right back. His performance has kept stalwart Thapelo Morena out of the team.

He was voted the Man of the Match as they defeated Kaizer Chiefs last week Saturday in the DSTV Premiership.

“We’re very happy, to be honest, because we were playing away. It’s not easy to beat [Kaizer] Chiefs at their home.” Mudau told the Mamelodi Sundowns media after the win.

“They were coming from a loss, a 4-0 loss to AmaZulu, but obviously they are a big team. They can’t manage to lose three games in a row, but I’m very happy that we managed to keep a clean sheet at the back, and we managed to get one goal and we won.

“Every time when I play, I want to make sure I do help the team both in defence and attack. The coach gave me information that I need to go forward more. I’m glad that I did find Peter [Shalulile] and then Peter got Neo [Maema] and then we scored.

“TS Galaxy are a great team; they have a lot of experienced players. But we just have to go there and make sure that we play our normal game.

“I’m very happy about the supporters, they came in numbers, then they showed us love. And then they kept us going you know”
