Gaston Sirino Heavily Linked with A Move to Al Ahly! The Uruguayan has been linked with a move to the Egyptian giants ever since Pitso Mosimane joined the club. Al Ahly have reportedly offered what would be an incredible sum for the player.
According to reports, Mamelodi Sundowns have been offered 3M Euros (R60M) for Gaston Sirino. Although according to Soccer Laduma sources, no formal been having been made for the dynamic midfielder.
“It has been widely reported that Sirino is wanted by his former coach Pitso Mosimane, who joined the Egyptian giants a month ago on a lucrative two-year contract following his shock resignation from his Sundowns post.
“Al Ahly’s interest in the midfielder, however, emerged long before Mosimane accepted the job, though his arrival has reignited this pursuit.
“Chloorkop insiders told the Siya crew on Tuesday that no formal bid had yet been accepted for Sirino but did indicate that the player may have been unsettled by the rumours despite signing a five-year contract earlier this year.”
Gaston Sirino was voted last season’s Nedbank Cup Player of the Season. He scored the winning goal in the finals against Bloemfontein Celtic.
