Gavin Hunt Expects Tough Game against Richards Bay FC! Amakhosi take on NFD side Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup on Sunday.

The Kaizer Chiefs boss is very aware that there are no gimmies in this competition. Especially not for Kaizer Chiefs.

Chiefs’ 2019 defeat to TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup final will always haunt the club. Senior players like Khune, Parker and Katsande, who played in the final, will be very much aware of this.

Zakhele Lerato Lepasa also announced himself to the football stage in winning and scoring the decisive penalty in the game.

“Uhm, you know, I mean if you look around the world and you see teams in cup competitions, they play weakened teams but you know, we can’t be doing that. Well because of the situation (transfer ban) you spoken about, so we’ll obviously try our best in every game.” Gavin Hunt told The Beautiful Game.
