Gavin Hunt Explains Wild Celebrations After Defeating Kaizer Chiefs! Matsatsantsa defeated Amakhosi over the past weekend.

SuperSport United defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the DSTV Premiership last Saturday. Head coach Gavin Hunt was seen extremely jubilant after the final whistle blew.

The Matsatsantsa head coach has went on to elaborate why he was seen in so much excitement.

“I think you all know how I left, it wasn’t nice,” Hunt told journalists after the victory.

“Semi-finals of the Champions League you know but I can’t… it’s part [of the game]. It’s gone.

“Any victory in the Premier League is a good victory.

“But for us in our situation, trying to fight for second, and them fighting for second it was pretty much like a cup final I thought, I didn’t want to make it like that. But I knew if they beat us, they one point behind us.

“If we beat them, it’s over.

“And with a good crowd, home [away from home]. We’re unbeaten this year at home, with three home venues unbeaten, has it been done before? 

“Unbeaten at home, okay we lost to Dondol [Nedbank Cup]. One game but I mean, come on I lost to Dondol so we could come second in the league.

“You know the story. We had no players, we had to play [Gabuza] as a defender but yeah, any victory is good, especially in our situation.”
