Hugo Broos has experienced so many problems in his brief time as Bafana Bafana head coach. The latest instalment is the no-show by Goodman Mosele.
The Orlando Pirates midfielder was in line to win his first Bafana Bafana appearance. However, this will not happen as he has not reported for camp.
Players are scheduled to arrive at national team camp within 24 hours of their last domestic match. This is what everyone has done, except for Mosele.
“And then something that I never saw in my life as a coach or as player, a player who do not come to the camp, Goodman Mosele was selected for those games against Ethiopia.
“He didn’t even come to the camp. He did not leave a message, he is unreachable. So, we try to phone him because we do not know what the reason is why he was not there. So, I had to replace him.
“And it was a big surprise to me that the player doesn’t go to camp of a national team.
“So, I have the feeling a little bit that club level in this country is more important than Bafana Bafana” he added.
Mmodi does not have one and Singh’s passport has expired.
This came in the same weekend where he was denied entrance into the Orlando Stadium by Orlando Pirates officials. Goodman Mosele No-Show Adds More Fuel to Hugo Broos’ Fire!
