Shabba Scoops player of the season Award.

Kaizer Chiefs held their season end celebrations for the 2016/17 season in Kayalami on Thursday evening.
In another trophy less season the mighty Amakhosi celebrated players that did well for the team in the season that just concluded.

Last year midfield hard man Willard Katsande won the player of the season award and players player of the season. However last night was Siphiwe Tshabalala’s night.

Shabba scooped the playerof the season, fans player of the season award and his goal against Free State Stars was named goal of the season. Shabba walked away with a grand total of R170 000.

Player of the Season Award- R100 000
Fans Player of the Season- R50 000
Goal of the Season- R20 000

Tshabalala’s eight goals for Kaizer Chiefs also earned him the Top Goal Scorer award.
