Heavy win lifts Ajax Cape Town into top 8
A heavy 4-1 win over Polokwane City has pushed Ajax Cape Town into seventh position.
Erwin Bradley handed the Urban Warriors the lead after 44 minutes. The visitors lead was doubled by Prince Nxumalo who struck in the 48th minute.
Polokwane City reduced the deficit courtesy of Jabulani Maluleke in the 57th minute. Nxumalo took the sting out of a possible come back when he bagged a brace in the 64th minute.
Lawrence Lartey was sent off in the 88th minute, but that would not prevent Ndiviwe Mdabuka from scoring a fourth on the stroke of full time. The 4-1 win was good news for Roger De Sa whose side moved into the top 8.
