Here’s How Much Andile Ncube Is Demanding After SABC Removed Him To Make Way For Marawa! A few weeks ago Robert Marawa made his return to radio with a history making slot simulcasting on Metro FM and Radio 2000.
This resulted in hosts who were holding the slots down being removed to make a way for him. Thomas Mlambo and Andile Ncube were left with no shows.
Ncube who had turned down an offer from private station Power FM before agreeing to renew his contract with Radio 2000 until May 2019 has given the SABC an ultimatum to either reinstate him to his sports show at Radio 2000 or pay him almost R2 million.
“We do represent Mr Andile Ncube with regards to certain contractual arrangements he has with the SABC. We are unable to offer any further comments with regards to this matter,” Ncube’s lawyer Clement Shirilele confirmed.
One of Ncube’s co-workers told a local publication that at the time Andile was informed about the SABC decision to kick him out of the Radio 2000 sports show, he asked to be given the Metro FM sports show that’s when they broke the news to him that one man was going to do the two shows in a simulcast.
