Hugo Broos Expects Difficult Game Against Zimbabwe Tomorrow Afternoon!
Hugo Broos Expects Difficult Game Against Zimbabwe Tomorrow Afternoon! The South Africans visit their neighbours for this FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Hugo Broos will take charge of his first Bafana Bafana game tomorrow. He is already anticipating a very tough game against close neighbours Zimbabwe.
The South Africans have completed their short trip to Zimbabwe for the crunch game. They have been hit with player withdrawals ahead of the match.
Thibang Phete and Thabiso Kutumela have both had to drop out of the team after testing positive for covid-19. Both players are currently in isolation.
Midfielder Mothobi Mvala is also unlikely to feature in the game after recovering from a slight injury knock.
The team had already lost another international player in the form of Sphelelo Sithole
“We have to be ready; we have no choice.” Broos said to the media last night.
“There were a few concerns that I had at Tuesday’s training but by the afternoon session the team gave me what I needed and that was quality. I’m happy with the way things are going,” he added.
Zimbabwe boast quite a few players who ply their trade in the DSTV Premiership. They also have a few internationally based players.
Because of this, Broos wants his side to be cautious of the danger they could potentially face in the game.
“They’re difficult to beat because they know us.
“A lot of the players play in South Africa and now we play against them, that is not going to be easy, but we have our plan and they have theirs, we’re going to fight,’’ he added.
Kick-off for the game is 15h00. Hugo Broos Expects Difficult Game Against Zimbabwe Tomorrow Afternoon!
