“I Promise That We Will Take This Matter To The Highest Court If The Results Are Not In Our favour.” – Says Bloemfontein Celtic Chairman
Premier Soccer League Manager Derek Blanckensee’s comments about Camaldine Abraw’s clarity to join chiefs have been Described as misleading by Bloemfontein Celtic Chairman, Max Tshabalala. Even more infuriating according to Siwelele chairman is that the case according to DRC(PSL Disciplinary Committee) was referred back to the PSL to take final decision involving the matter. According to reports from Bloemfontein Celtics official site.
Tshabalala explains “We are utterly stunned by Mr. Blanckensee’s judgement on the matter before PSL can deliberate on the matter and come with a verdict. As a Club, we Haven’t received any formal communication from the league as yet. The DRC recommended that the PSL check whether Chiefs was right to sign the player considering that he had signed a pre-contract with Celtic.
Also to be determined was whether the player was right to sign contracts with different teams. The league has to also make a decision on whether Celtic was right to sign the player three months before his contract expired without consulting his former club (Free State Stars). It’s worth noting that our request of have the player back at Celtic was duly denied by the DRC.”
“We are perplexed that even before a decision is taken an individuals has already decided to make a ruling through the media and that is unprofessional. The league has to distance itself from misleading statements made by the General Manager. We respect the League and awaiting for the report. I promise that we will take this matter to the highest court if the results are not in our favour, purely because of our confidence regarding the matter,” concluded Tshabalala.
