“I wouldn’t take the Pirates number 10 jersey if offered”, says Thabo Rakhale

Bucaneers star player Thabo Rakhale says he would not accept the number 10 jersey given the responsibility that such a number carries at a club like Orlando Pirates.

“I wouldn’t take it, It comes with a lot of pressure. With a guy like Steve Lekoela he established himself well enough, he was a household name which is something I am still working on so going and taking number 10 I would not even think of it” said Rakhale.

Jomo Sono and Chippa Moloi are examples of great players to have won the number 10 jersey. With the emergence of Thabo Rakhale onto the scene, some fans believe it will be befitting to give it to the rising star.
