ICYMI: The Late Shoes Moshoeu Was Allegedly Involved In Fraud

On Monday it was reported that the former Kaizer Chiefs player, Shoes Moshoeu secured the tenders in 2012 through his company, Shoes Moshoeu Holdings in a joint venture with a state entity Independent Development Trust(IDT). He was operating an unregistered company, he was basically committing fraud but he will not be facing any charges, he passed away in April after a battle with cancer at the age of 49.
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) confirmed that his company was never registered as a legal company with the commission.
“Yes the IDT awarded a tender to Shoes Moshoeu Holdings Joint Venture” confirmed IDT’s media relations manager Thabiso Dlomo. “I t was awarded three tenders to build three schools in Gauteng in January 2012” he added.
