‘I’m A Mama’s Boy,’ Admits Free State Stars Striker Siphelele Mthembu! The former Kaizer Chiefs star move to Free State Stars was hugely influenced by his closeness to his mother.
His family home is in Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal, a two-hour drive from Bethlehem in Free State where his current club, Stars is.
The 30 year old star recently spoke to Sowetan revealing that the reason why he’s not yet married is because he’s a mama’s boy and still enjoying the close bond they have which was solidified when his father died in 2004.
“When the opportunity to join Stars came, I didn’t hesitate because I knew that being here would mean I would spend much more time with my mother at my house in Glencoe and it’s very close to here. I go home after every two days. I am still mama’s boy,” Mthembu told the publication.
