Jose Riveiro Hopes Orlando Stadium Will Be Advantageous Today! The Buccaneers take on Matsatsantsa later in the day.

Orlando Pirates host SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership this evening. Head coach Jose Riveiro is hopeful that home ground advantage will help them to the much needed three points.

The Orlando Stadium has at time proved to be a fortress for The Buccaneers. Their only home losses of the season came at the hands of Chippa United, Kaizer Chiefs [at FNB Stadium] and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Other than that, they have been unbeatable at home this campaign. Riveiro would hope that the home supporters will be in their numbers for the encounter.

“We’re always just thinking about the next game. At this stage of the season, like I said before, every game is going to be crucial, every point we’re going to play [for] until the end.” The Spaniard told the club media.

“Especially when we play at home, it must be an advantage for us. We have to use that advantage, that competitive advantage to play at home with our people around and those people will be helping us for sure. [They] will be playing the game with us fully until the end.

“The 90 minutes all the way and with them behind [us], we’re going to be unbeatable here at home. We have had a good week again and we have a chance to train here at Orlando [Stadium] in our minus one which is something which is always special for us.

“It’s going to help us be more comfortable tomorrow [today] on the field, for sure.” He concluded.
