José Riveiro Is Looking Forward to The MTN 8 Final! The Buccaneers take on Usuthu in the cup match this weekend.

Orlando Pirates will play against AmaZulu in the MTN 8 final this Saturday. Head coach José Riveiro is happy to be participating in a match of this magnitude.

The Buccaneers are still reeling from a 1-0 loss at home to Kaizer Chiefs in the DSTV Premiership over the past weekend. This defeat put an end to a 2-game winning streak.

Pirates went into the derby as favorites, having beaten Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows convincingly in their two previous matches.

Now, The Buccaneers must get themselves raring to go again as they play Usuthu this Saturday. This is the last PSL match until the 30^th of December 2022.

“The preparation is starting today [Tuesday], its going to be our firs session since the last match [against Kaizer Chiefs the Saturday before],” Riveiro said to the media.

“In relation to the week, so as usual we are trying to prepare [for] the game as good as possible in every aspect. Conditional, tactical, and emotionally as well.

“It’s nice to start weeks like this with a final on the horizon and full of illusion and motivation, obviously.” The Spaniard added.
