Josef Zinnbauer and his entire coaching staff, which included Fadlu Davids has been fired by Lokomotiv Moscow. The latter had only been part of the staff for approximately two weeks.
Davids joined up with Zinnbauer at the beginning of the month, as his assistant coach. However, a string of poor results has seen the duo fired from their posts, respectively.
The Russian giants have lost 5 successive matches and are left flailing in the relegation zone, which is not what the club expects.
“Sports director Thomas Zorn and head coach Josef Zinnbauer leave the Lokomotiv football club” the club announced in a statement.
After Zinnbauer was fired, it was unclear whether Fadlu Davids would also follow suit. The has confirmed that he is indeed leaving.
“Fadlu met the GM with all the staff brought in by him.” The agent of Fadlu Davids Rasthoem Simons told the media.
“The entire technical team parted ways amicably with the club, so the existing technical team has since left the club. With the entire re-structuring of the club now taking place,” the statement read.
